On July 1st, we will be leaving from San Pedro in Los Angeles for Waikiki in Hawaii. This is a journey of over 2,200 nautical miles (4,000 kilometers) which should take us about two weeks.

We will be doing this passage on our beloved Ruby, a First 40 from Beneteau I co-own with my friend Bertrand Mérigot. We have spent the last year and a half getting Ruby and the crew ready under Bertrand's competent supervision.

We are a crew of six: Bertrand, Frederic Benqué, Sébastien Figue, Olivier Lauzeral, Sébastien Rosset and myself (Emmanuel). Check the crew section where you can learn about them. We are all excited by this adventure and will share stories with you as we go along.
